“Once Shri Krishna was standing in front of the mirror dressing up.
He was trying out different crowns on his head and putting on some fine jewelry while his charioteer waited outside with the chariot ready.
His charioteer waited and waited and thought to himself, “usually, Shri Krishna comes immediately, today he has still not come”.
So, out of curiosity, the charioteer went inside to find out if the program was still on, because Shri Krishna was very unpredictable and anytime anything could change. So he went inside and saw Shri Krishna standing in front of the mirror admiring himself.
He politely asked, “Master tell me, why are you so well dressed up today. Where are we going?”
Shri Krishna said, “I am going to meet Duryodhana.”
The charioteer said, “You are dressing up to meet Duryodhana?”
Shri Krishna then replied, “He cannot see my inside, he can only appreciate my outside. So I dressed up well to impress him.”
Then the charioteer asked, “ Why are you going to Duryodhana? You should not go, he should come to you. This I cannot accept. This is not fair. Look at your status and look at him! You are the Lord of the world. You should not go, let him come.”
Krishna turned back, looked at him, smiled and said,
“Darkness does not come to the light, light has to go to darkness.”

In India, today is the tradition of lights. At sunset, many lamps are lit in every house in every corner of this amazing Country.
Let’s merge into the light of this festivity.
In the silence of the heart let’s offer a light to burn our anger and jealousy that we still maybe holding…and let’s see it melting away.
We can offer a second light and let it burn away unwanted greed and desires, and let’s feel happy and contented with what we have been blessed with.
We can offer a third light to dissolve all insecurities, that we may have in your mind related to financial matters or anything else; just knowing that it is God that has given us our life and he will surely give us all we need.
We can offer a fourth light shining within the body, blessing each and every cell, dissolving any illness that we may have. Let’s feel healthy while the light radiate it’s brightness energizing every organ.
Let’s offer a fifth light as a divine light.
Let’s see that flame in the center of our body filling it with warmth and love.
Allow the divine love to be expressed through our smile, eyes, speech, and each action.
Let’s bring this love all day long and giving it to all we meet.
And why don’t we do it every day? Let us offer those five lights every morning.
The blessings will be unlimited.
Happy Diwali to all
